Reasons for the Holodomor
Joseph and the Communist Party wanted state control over the agriculture production and distribution. The state used propoganda extensively to gain support for his plans of collectivization. This picture shows how Stalin wanted the people to have the idea he was in total control of the USSR.
Enemies of the People
Anyone who objected to the Soviet Union were punished. They were known as "Enimies of the People" and were sent to Soviet prison camps. They were treated just as they would treat their enemies of war.
